How to Prepare for an Exterior Estimate

A little preparation makes the first conversation more useful.

General information only. An on-site assessment and written agreement determine the actual project scope.

Start with these questions

  • List the areas you want reviewed.
  • Take photos of visible trouble if it is safe to do so.
  • Note when the issue started and whether it changed.
  • Identify your priorities: function, appearance, maintenance, or timing.
  • Ask for the final scope, exclusions, and responsibilities in writing.
